Do not use very with adjectives that have ‘very’ as part of their meaning, for example ‘terrible’ (= very bad ) and ‘fascinating’ (= very interesting ). Just use the adjective, or use absolutely to emphasize it. 不要将very和已包含非常之意的形容词连用terrible (非常糟糕的)fascinating(非常有趣的) 这些形容词单独使用即可或用absolutely来强调

nGRAMMAR: Adjectives that already mean ‘very’
Some adjectives already mean ‘very’, for example terrible (=very bad), wonderful (=very good), or hilarious (=very funny). Don’t use ‘very’ with these adjectives. Use really or absolutely instead. You say:
It was a really terrible experience.
I feel absolutely great.
Don’t say: It was a very terrible experience. | I feel very great.
