Still usually comes before the verb, unless the verb is a simple tense of ‘be’, or after the first auxiliary. still 通常置于动词之前（一般时态的 be 动词除外）,第一个助动词之后

Still usually comes before any negative word or before ‘do not’. still 通常置于否定词或 do not 前

It was still dark outside.

外面还是很黑。

Do not say ‘still now’ 不要说 ‘still now’

I can still remember them.

She still isn’t ready.

她还没准备好。

They still can’t decide.

他们仍然无法决定。

I’m still not tired.

我还是不累。

We still do not know exactly what happened.

我们还是不知道到底发生了什么。

Inflation is still (NOT不说 still now) a problem.

Still comes before a main verb:

The system still works.

该系统仍能运行。

I still love you.

Still comes after ‘am’, ‘ is’, ‘was’ etc:

I’m still angry.

It was still dark outside.

外面还是很黑。

She is still not ready.

Still can come before the verb ‘be’ when it is part of a contraction such as ‘isn’t’ or ‘wasn’t’:

She still isn’t ready.

她还没准备好。

Still comes after the first auxiliary verb in positive sentences:

I can still remember them.

我还记得他们。

The marks can still be seen.

Still comes before the first auxiliary verb in negative sentences:

I still can’t remember his name.

We still do not know exactly what happened.

我们还是不知道到底发生了什么。
