nGRAMMAR: Using the passive
Get is not usually used in the passive. If you want to use a passive verb, it may be better to use obtain, which is often used in the passive. You say:
Most of our electricity is obtained from nuclear power.
Don’t say: Most of our electricity is got from nuclear power.
