GRAMMAR: Word order
Rarely usually comes before a verb: Rarely 通常位于动词之前:
He rarely plays any sports.

Rarely usually comes after the verb ‘be’: Rarely 通常位于动词 be 之后:

Rarely usually comes after an auxiliary verb such as ‘do’ or ‘have’: Rarely 通常位于助动词之后,例如 do have
I have rarely seen someone eat so much.

In written English, rarely is sometimes used at the beginning of a sentence before an auxiliary, to emphasize that something seems surprising or special: 在书面语中,rarely 有时会位于句首,在助动词之前,用于强调某事非常令人惊讶或特别:
